Hello

Few get the opportunity to do what they truly love as a career. I have had the opportunity to have not just one career, but multiple. here is part of my story.

My Story

I served in the United States Army for 25 years, retiring in 2022 as a Master Sergeant. Throughout my military career, I took on various roles that allowed me to grow as a leader and as a person. I was an Artilleryman, an Army Instructor, an Operations Manager, a Casualty Operations Manager, a Resiliency Manager, a Suicide Prevention Manager, an Operations NCO, and a Chaplain Assistant. Each role came with its own unique challenges and opportunities to serve not just my country, but also my fellow soldiers.

During my service, I deployed to Iraq and Syria, where I had the honor of working alongside some of the most dedicated individuals I’ve ever met. I also participated in training missions in countries like Japan and Kosovo, experiences that broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the global mission of the U.S. military.

I earned several awards throughout my career, including the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Purple Heart. Many difficult experiences reinforced my belief in resilience, teamwork, and the importance of mental health support for service members.

One of the most profound realizations I had during my time in the Army was the critical gap in mental health care for military personnel. This insight became the driving force behind my decision to pursue a Master’s Degree in mental health counseling while still serving. I knew that when I transitioned out of the military, I wanted to dedicate my next chapter to helping others heal and thrive, particularly those who have served or are currently serving.

Since retiring, I’ve carried this mission forward as a full-time mental health counselor and clinical director. My goal is to ensure that no one feels alone in their struggles, whether they're navigating the challenges of military service, reintegration, or life in general.
